Citizenship: Raising the Standard is a training package for secondary citizenship teachers. It includes a two hour DVD/video and a photocopiable manual. The materials contain extensive guidance on issues such as teaching controversial issues, dealing with racism in class, improving class discussion, the development of social and moral thinking and whole school approaches to citizenship.
